DTU Recruitment 2025: Apply for 66 Non-Teaching Posts

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has announced a major recruitment drive. The university is inviting applications for 66 non-teaching positions. This presents a significant opportunity for job seekers in the national capital region. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications online. The official DTU website is the only channel for application submission.

The deadline for submitting the online application is December 10, 2025. Candidates should ensure they complete all formalities well before this date. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the university’s administrative support staff.

 Overview of Available Positions

A total of 66 vacancies are open across two distinct non-teaching roles. The majority of the openings are for a key support position.

1. Junior Office Assistant (50 Posts)

This position has the highest number of vacancies available. There are 50 posts open for the Junior Office Assistant role.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Proficiency in computer typing is a mandatory requirement.

  • The required typing speed is 35 words per minute in English.

  • Alternatively, a speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi is accepted.

  • The monthly salary for this post is ₹19,000.

2. Data Entry Operator (16 Posts)

The second category is for the Data Entry Operator role. There are 16 positions available for this technical post.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field.

  • A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English is required.

  • Alternatively, a speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi is mandatory.

  • A minimum of two years of work experience in the relevant field is essential.

  • The monthly salary offered for this position is ₹22,500.

 Age Limit and Relaxation Guidelines

The university has specified clear age restrictions for these posts. The maximum age for applicants is 30 years. The calculation of the age limit will be based on the date of November 30, 2025.

Relaxations in the maximum age limit are provided for reserved categories.

  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will receive a five-year age relaxation.

  • Applicants from the OBC category are granted a three-year age concession.

  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will receive a ten-year age relaxation.

  • These relaxations adhere to the standard government norms.

 Selection Process and Application Fee

The selection of candidates will be a structured, two-stage process. The primary stage involves a written examination. Candidates who clear the written test will then proceed to the next stage. The final selection will be based on document verification. This step ensures the authenticity of all submitted credentials.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee during the online submission.

  • The standard application fee is ₹1,500 for general candidates.

  • A concessional fee of ₹750 is applicable for certain categories.

  • This reduced fee applies to candidates from the SC/ST categories.

  • It also covers EWS and PwD category applicants.

  • The payment must be made online only.

  • Applicants can use a debit card, credit card, UPI, or internet banking.

  • No other payment methods will be accepted by the university.
