The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released the Final Answer Key. This release is for the 71st Preliminary Examination. Candidates can check and download the key. They must visit the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The final key is crucial for all examinees.

Five Questions Deleted from Evaluation

The BPSC 71st Prelims Final Answer Key features a significant change. Five questions have been formally deleted. These questions have been excluded from the final evaluation process. Experts anticipate this deletion will not heavily affect the cutoff marks. They note that the marks for deleted questions will be given to everyone. Consequently, the cutoff might increase by a small number of marks.

OMR Sheets Now Available for Download

In addition to the final answer key, the OMR Sheets of candidates are also released. Aspirants can download their Answer Sheets (उत्तर पत्रक). They need to log in to their personal Dashboard. This login is done on the commission’s official website. The download window is open from October 31, 2025 (10:00 AM). It will remain accessible until November 8, 2025.

Candidates must immediately check their OMR Sheets for any errors. If any discrepancy is found, they must register their objection. This can be done via email. The official email ID for objections is examcontroller-bpsc@gov.in. The deadline for raising any objection is strictly November 8, 2025.

Final Deadline for Objections and OMR Download

No objections will be considered after the November 8, 2025 deadline. Furthermore, candidates must download their OMR Sheets before this date. The commission will not provide a photocopy of the OMR Sheet later. Candidates are strongly advised to secure their copy immediately.

Earlier, the BPSC issued the Provisional Answer Key on September 20. Objections were requested from September 21 to September 27. The final key was released after expert review of all submitted objections. The BPSC 71st Preliminary Examination was held on September 13. The examination ran from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Examination Details and Total Vacancies

The preliminary examination was conducted smoothly. It took place across 912 examination centers in 37 districts. A large number of applicants participated. 4.39 lakh candidates had applied for the examination. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1298 posts.

The available vacancies span multiple departments. The selection process will fill various important administrative positions. These positions include Senior Deputy Collector and Financial Administrative Officer. Other roles are Labour Superintendent and Sub Registrar/Joint Sub Registrar. Positions like Cane Officer and Block Cooperative Officer are also available. Further vacancies exist for Block Panchayati Raj Officer and Revenue Officer. The list also includes Block SC/ST Welfare Officer and Block Minority Welfare Officer. A few posts for Deputy Superintendent of Police are also part of this recruitment.

Result Announcement Expected Soon

Following the release of the final answer key, the Result is expected soon. The Bihar Public Service Commission will likely announce the 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination results very shortly. Candidates who appeared in the exam are eagerly awaiting the announcement.
