A 40-year-old male resident of Ludhiana succumbed to the virus on Wednesday at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH-32) in Sector 32. The patient was admitted to the emergency department four days ago after experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Upon admission, doctors immediately conducted a COVID-19 test due to the severity of his symptoms. The report came back positive on Tuesday.
