Irrigating just 1.25 dismil of land with a diesel pump cost about 150 rupees. With solar pumps, the cost reduced drastically to just 30 rupees. This cost efficiency brought huge savings for farmers, making agriculture more profitable and sustainable. Her efforts not only improved her family’s economic condition but also brought progress to dozens of farming households.
