BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed his profound sorrow over the accident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He urged the state government to provide financial assistance to the families of the deceased and ensure the injured receive top-notch medical care. K.T. Rama Rao, former minister and the working president of BRS, also shared his grief over the loss of 17 lives in the accident. He wished for the swift recovery of the injured and called on the state government to provide immediate assistance and medical treatment to the affected families.
