The special train will operate from March 29 to March 31, 2025, with several strategic stops along the route. Additionally, the railway department has also introduced unreserved coach trains for the convenience of the passengers.

The Vande Bharat Express, known for its speed and modern amenities, will offer a comfortable and efficient travel experience for those traveling between New Delhi and Patna during this busy festival period.

Details of the Special Vande Bharat Express Train:

  • Departure Dates:

  • The Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi will depart between March 29 and March 31, 2025, at 8:30 AM, reaching Patna at 8:10 PM.

  • Return Journey:

  •  The return train from Patna to New Delhi will depart at 5:30 AM on March 30, March 31, and April 1, reaching New Delhi at 8:10 PM.

  • Stops Along the Route:

  •  The special Vande Bharat Express will make stops at several important stations, including Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, and Ara, providing accessibility to passengers from different cities along the route.

Unreserved Coach Trains:

For the convenience of passengers who may not have reserved tickets in advance, Indian Railways will operate unreserved coach trains between March 28 and March 30, 2025. These trains will provide additional travel options for those who wish to board without a reservation, ensuring that more people can participate in the festive celebrations.

  • Anand Vihar Terminal to Bhagalpur Special (04430/04429):

  • This train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 12:40 PM. It will stop at important stations like Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Bakhitiyarpur, Mokama, Hathidah, Lakhisarai, Kuil, Abhaypur, Jamalpur, and Sultan Ganj.

  • Old Delhi to Saharsa Special (04432/04431):

  • This train will depart from Old Delhi at 3:20 PM, making stops at stations like Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gazipur City, Ballia, Suramanpur, Chapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Barauni, and Khagaria.

  • New Delhi to Jainagar Special (04434/04433):

  •  This train will operate from New Delhi, departing at 11:30 PM from March 28 to March 30, 2025. The return train will depart from Jainagar at 4:00 AM on March 30, March 31, and April 1. Key stops include Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, and Madhubani.

  • Old Delhi to Katihar Special (04438/04437):

  •  This train will operate from Old Delhi, departing at 2:15 PM from March 28 to March 30, 2025. The return train will leave Katihar at 6:45 PM from March 29 to March 31. It will make stops at New Delhi, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria, and Mansi.
