The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final results for the SSC CPO 2024 examination. This recruitment drive was held for the positions of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Women’s Selection in SSC CPO 2024

  • For Delhi Police: 61 candidates have been recommended for the Sub-Inspector (SI) positions.

  • For CAPF: A total of 394 candidates have been selected for the available positions of Sub-Inspector.

These selections were based on the performance of the candidates in both the written examination and the physical tests. The women candidates who have been shortlisted will now proceed to the medical examination and further verification steps.

Men’s Selection in SSC CPO 2024

The men’s selection process has resulted in the following recommendations:

  • Delhi Police: 113 candidates have been recommended for 125 Sub-Inspector positions. Notably, 12 candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and 11 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) have qualified under the unreserved standard.

  • CAPF: 413 candidates have been recommended for 513 Sub-Inspector positions in CAPF. Among these, 6 SC, 1 ST, 461 OBC, and 361 EWS candidates qualified under the unreserved standard.

These selections have been based on the candidates’ performance in various stages of the SSC CPO examination. After the written test and physical endurance tests, the successful candidates have been chosen for the available positions in both Delhi Police and CAPF.

SSC CPO 2024 Cut-Off and Recruitment Positions

The recruitment process for the SSC CPO 2024 examination covers various categories, each with a specific number of positions. The detailed breakdown of the posts is as follows:

  • Category A: Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police

  • Category B: Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)

SSC CPO 2024: Application and Examination Timeline

The online application process for SSC CPO 2024 took place between 8th and 28th March 2024. The first stage of the computer-based examination was held from 27th to 29th June 2024. The official answer key for the examination was released on 5th July, and the results for the first stage of the exam were declared on 2nd September 2024.

A total of 734,157 candidates applied for 4,187 positions across India in this recruitment drive. The final result, released now, reflects the successful candidates who made it through all the stages of the examination, which included the written test, physical endurance tests, and medical evaluation.

After the declaration of the final results, the selected candidates will undergo a medical examination and document verification.
