KKN Gurugram Desk | The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the final list of participating institutions for Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2025, expanding the number of universities that will accept CUET UG scores for undergraduate admissions. With the entrance exam concluding on June 3, the updated list comes as a crucial update for students preparing for the next phase — the counseling and admission process.

 CUET UG 2025 Overview

  • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)

  • Assam University

  • Jamia Millia Islamia

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

  • Mahatma Gandhi Central University

  • Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University

  • Rajiv Gandhi University

  • South Asian University

  • Delhi University

  • University of Allahabad

  • University of Hyderabad

  • Visva-Bharati University

 How Many State and Private Universities Are Participating?

According to the revised data:

  • 32 State Universities will accept CUET UG scores.

  • Notable names include:

    • Barkatullah University

    • Delhi Technological University (DTU)

    • Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya

    • Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

    • University of Jammu

    • University of Kashmir

    • Vikram University

    • University of Ladakh

  • 127 Private Universities will admit students based on CUET UG scores.

    • This marks a slight decline from 133 private institutions in 2024.

    • However, it still represents a significant chunk of the total seats available under the CUET framework.

 Deemed-to-be Universities and Other Institutions

In addition to central, state, and private universities:

  • 25 Deemed Universities are accepting CUET UG 2025 scores.

  • 6 Other Government Institutions (e.g., specialized institutes and research-focused bodies) are also included in the final list.
