A heartbreaking road accident occurred in Jehanabad, Bihar, where two brothers lost their lives when a sand-laden truck ran over them. The tragic incident took place near the Sohsa village in the Arwal district, leaving the family in deep grief. The two brothers, both from the same family, were crushed by the truck while riding on a motorcycle. The accident occurred so suddenly that both brothers died on the spot. The victims were residents of Sohsa village, and their untimely deaths have devastated their family. Relatives are in utter distress, mourning the loss of two loved ones. Police have arrived at the scene and are initiating the legal proceedings related to the accident.

Details of the Fatal Incident

According to reports, the accident took place near the Sohsa Mainpura crossing in the Mehndiya police station area. An out-of-control truck, which was carrying sand, collided with the motorcycle the two brothers were riding. The impact was so severe that both men were crushed under the wheels of the truck and died immediately. The brothers, identified as Kalam (50) and Kayum (45), were residents of Sohsa village in the Mehndiya police station area.

Kalam and Kayum were on their way to their respective tailoring shops in Kaler and Belsar. Kalam had his tailoring shop in Kaler, while Kayum’s shop was in Belsar. The brothers, who were close-knit, would often ride together on the same motorcycle to work. Kalam would drop off Kayum at Belsar and then head towards Kaler. In the evening, they would repeat the journey, with Kalam picking up Kayum from Belsar before returning home.

On the fateful morning of Sunday, as Kalam was heading towards Kaler from home, disaster struck near the Mainpura crossing. An uncontrollable sand truck hit the motorcycle, resulting in the brothers’ tragic deaths. The scene was chaotic, and many people from nearby areas, including Sohsa, Mainpura, Chanda, and others, rushed to the spot.

Local Authorities Arrive at the Scene

Upon receiving the news, several local officials arrived at the site. The video operator Manoj Kumar, Circle Officer Sarvesh Kumar Sinha, Mehndiya Police Station Head Chandan Kumar Jha, Kaler Police Station Head Pawan Kumar Singh, former Sohsa Pradhan Manoj Kumar, Mainpura Pradhan Ashok Kumar Sharma, and BJP leader Gaurav Kumar reached the site. They tried to calm the angry crowd and control the situation.

The truck driver, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, lost control of the vehicle near the Mainpura crossing, leading to the fatal accident. The truck veered off the road, hitting the two brothers who were standing beside their motorcycle. The accident has left Sohsa village in mourning, and a large number of people continue to gather at the scene.

Impact on the Community and Family

The tragic deaths of Kalam and Kayum have created a void in their family and the local community. The brothers, known for their hard work and dedication, were respected members of Sohsa village. Their sudden demise has brought sorrow to the entire village. The community is still grappling with the shock of the accident, and many people are gathering to pay their respects to the deceased.

The family is in deep shock, and the tragic event has left them inconsolable. The loss of two brothers, who were the breadwinners of their family, has created an emotional and financial burden on the survivors. Investigation and Legal Action

After the incident, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The truck driver, whose reckless driving is believed to be the cause of the accident, has been identified. The police are now working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the driver’s behavior and the accident. The truck driver’s intoxication is believed to have played a crucial role in the crash. He will likely face charges related to negligent driving and causing the deaths of the two men.

Local authorities have promised to take necessary action against those responsible for the incident. The police have assured the family and community members that justice will be served and the investigation will proceed swiftly. Meanwhile, the Bihar government is also under pressure to take stricter measures to ensure the safety of citizens on the roads, especially concerning drivers under the influence of alcohol.
