The estimated total cost of the project is ₹5,559 crores.

First Corridor: Harpur Bakhri to Ramdayalu Nagar (13.85 km)

This corridor will cover 13 stations and is strategically planned to connect important commercial, residential, and transit hubs. The stations under this corridor include:

  2. Ahiyapur
  3. Zero Mile Chowk
  4. Bairiya Bus Stand
  5. Bhagwanpur Chowk
  6. Gobarsahi
  7. Ramdayalu Nagar

The route will pass through vital areas, including National Highways NH-22, NH-27, NH-122, and NH-722, providing better connectivity for commuters and intercity travelers.

Second Corridor: SKMCH to Muzaffarpur Railway Station (7.4 km)

The second corridor will serve areas of SKMCHShekhpurAkhara GhatCompany Bagh, and finally connect to the Muzaffarpur Railway Station. This shorter corridor will have 9 stations and focus on enhancing urban mobility within the city’s core areas.
