JD(U) Leaders Respond to RJD’s Allegations of Misinformation in Bihar Elections

Published on

As polling continues in Bihar’s crucial assembly elections, leaders from the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) have strongly rejected the allegations made by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). JD(U) leaders Rajiv Ranjan Prasad and MP Sanjay Jha accused the opposition of spreading lies and confusion in a last-ditch effort to mislead voters.

Opposition Accused of Misinformation Campaign

Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, a spokesperson for JD(U), responded to the RJD’s accusations by stating that the opposition had resorted to “spreading misinformation” as they sensed a likely defeat in the elections. He explained that when a loss becomes imminent, political parties often attempt to mislead voters. However, Prasad firmly believed that the people of Bihar were aware of these tactics and would not be swayed by such misinformation. He expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), affirming that they remained committed to the development of Bihar and were confident that the electorate would deliver a strong mandate in favor of the NDA.

Unity within NDA Amidst Allegations

JD(U) Member of Parliament Sanjay Jha also dismissed the claims made by the RJD. He likened the unity of the NDA to the “five Pandavas,” stressing that all five partners in the NDA stood united in their commitment to building a developed Bihar. Jha pointed out that the Mahagathbandhan, or Grand Alliance, had failed to make a strong case with their hollow promises. He said that when these promises did not resonate with the people, the opposition resorted to spreading lies. Jha firmly stated that the people of Bihar could see through the misleading tactics of the opposition.

Confidence in Voter Trust

Jha further added that the verdict on November 14 would reaffirm the trust that Bihar’s voters had placed in the NDA. He expressed belief that the outcome of the election would show that lies eventually collapse, and truth prevails. He stated that the people of Bihar would once again choose the path of development and stability, rejecting the deceptive tactics used by the opposition.

As Bihar’s elections continue to unfold, the JD(U) leaders have made it clear that they are confident in the support of the electorate. They have accused the RJD of trying to mislead voters by spreading lies as they face a potential defeat. With strong unity within the NDA and a focus on Bihar’s development, JD(U) leaders remain optimistic about securing a resounding mandate in the upcoming days.
