Chief Minister Spends Maximum Time With Women Entrepreneurs at Market Committee Event

All women present at the market committee premises wanted the Chief Minister to visit their stalls. Although it was not possible for him to reach every stall, he spent the maximum time interacting with women entrepreneurs. His visit on Friday turned into a moment of encouragement and recognition for women involved in livelihood activities.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the stalls and spoke directly with women about their work. He asked whether their businesses were running smoothly and if they were facing any difficulties. In response, the women said their lives had changed completely. They stated that livelihood opportunities had brought financial stability and confidence. Their enthusiasm was clearly visible during the interaction.

Women Entrepreneurs Share Their Success Stories

Every woman at the venue hoped for a personal interaction with the Chief Minister. While time constraints limited his movement, he focused mainly on women-led stalls. He visited stalls related to sustainable livelihood initiatives, agriculture, spices, and allied sectors. At the sustainable livelihood stall, women welcomed him warmly and shared their experiences.

Renu Devi and other women told the Chief Minister that they were now connected with different income-generating activities. They said they had created an identity not only within the district but also outside it. The women credited government support for their progress and said earlier they had limited opportunities. The Chief Minister encouraged them to continue working with dedication and confidence.

Fisheries and Livelihood Stalls Receive Attention

The Chief Minister also visited stalls related to fisheries. Women managing these stalls explained how fish farming had improved their income. They spoke about training and technical support that helped them expand their work. A total of 14 stalls were set up by around 60 women at the venue.

The Chief Minister observed the products displayed at the stalls and asked questions about production and market reach. Officials accompanying him discussed future expansion possibilities. The interaction boosted the morale of women entrepreneurs and reinforced their confidence in livelihood programmes.

Rangoli Depicts Development and Welfare Schemes

Women prepared rangoli designs to welcome the Chief Minister. The artwork depicted a vision of a prosperous Bihar and highlighted various welfare schemes. Women said the rangoli showcased development, reservation, and empowerment initiatives that had supported their growth.

Pawan Devi and Krishna Devi shared their experiences and said they received opportunities in different employment sectors. They stated that these opportunities helped them achieve financial independence. More than 7,000 women gathered at the pandal to attend the programme, reflecting growing participation of women in public initiatives.

Development Projects Worth Rs 853 Crore Announced

During the Samriddhi Yatra, the Chief Minister announced development projects worth Rs 853 crore for the district. The announcements were made at the market committee campus through online inauguration and foundation ceremonies. A total of 172 infrastructure-related schemes were included in the package.

Out of these, 47 projects worth Rs 212 crore were inaugurated. Foundation stones were laid for 89 projects costing Rs 194 crore. Work on 36 projects worth Rs 447 crore was formally started. These schemes focus on strengthening basic infrastructure and public services.

Market Committee Renovation and Security Projects Launched

The Chief Minister inaugurated the second phase of the market committee renovation project, completed at a cost of Rs 70.99 crore. The renovation aims to improve facilities for traders and farmers. He also inaugurated several projects linked to the Home Department.

This included the inauguration of buildings for four Naxal police stations. Nine additional departmental projects were also launched. These initiatives are expected to strengthen law and order and improve administrative efficiency in the region.

New Infrastructure for Education and Public Services

Several public utility buildings were inaugurated during the programme. An animal hospital built at a cost of Rs 1.07 crore was inaugurated in Paroo to support livestock health. New buildings for Industrial Training Institutes were also opened to enhance skill development among youth.

A Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya building was inaugurated at Bhatauna in Marwan. The school aims to support education for girls from disadvantaged sections. Girls’ hostels with a capacity of 100 beds each were inaugurated at two locations, including Navrashtra High School campus in Patahi. These hostels are expected to promote girls’ education and reduce dropout rates.

Panchayat government buildings were also inaugurated to strengthen local governance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level.

Focus on Women Empowerment and Inclusive Development

The programme highlighted the government’s focus on women empowerment and inclusive growth. Direct interaction with women entrepreneurs sent a strong message of support. Women presented a memento to the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude for the opportunities they received.

The visit concluded with optimism and enthusiasm among participants. Women left the venue encouraged and confident, with empowerment and infrastructure development emerging as the central themes of the programme.
