Yogi Adityanath Launches Scathing Attack on INDIA Bloc in Darbhanga Rally

Published on

In a strong political speech delivered at a rally in Darbhanga, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sharply criticized the opposition alliance, the INDIA bloc. He ridiculed the leaders of the alliance by calling them “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu,” mocking their ability to engage with important issues. His remarks were aimed at the RJD and Congress, accusing them of neglecting the poor, dividing Bihar along caste lines, and threatening national security.

Yogi Adityanath’s Critique of INDIA Bloc

Yogi Adityanath’s comments during the Bihar rally were bold and cutting. He began by referring to Mahatma Gandhi’s famous image of the three monkeys, but instead of the traditional portrayal, he introduced the leaders of the INDIA alliance as the “three new monkeys” – “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu.” According to Adityanath, Pappu cannot speak the truth, Tappu cannot see what is right, and Appu cannot hear the truth. In his view, these opposition leaders fail to acknowledge or discuss the development carried out under the NDA government, choosing instead to spread false information.

The UP Chief Minister continued his attack by suggesting that the INDIA bloc’s leaders are incapable of acknowledging the positive changes brought about by the Narendra Modi-led government. Their refusal to accept the truth, he argued, is what fuels the misinformation campaign against the current government. Yogi’s choice of words was clearly meant to undermine the credibility of the opposition.

RJD and Congress Deprived the Poor, Says Yogi

Turning his focus to the state of Bihar, Adityanath slammed the RJD-Congress coalition for its governance, accusing them of failing to uplift the poor during their rule. He highlighted the neglect of the underprivileged, pointing out that essential benefits like rations and government schemes were not accessible to those who needed them most. “When RJD ruled Bihar with Congress’ support, the poor were deprived of rations and government schemes,” he said. According to Yogi, before 2005, those living under Congress and RJD rule had little to no access to medical facilities. The poor, he claimed, would suffer and die when they fell ill, as there were no proper healthcare services available.

Kashmir Issue: Congress Made it Disputed, Claims Yogi

Yogi Adityanath didn’t spare Congress when addressing the issue of Kashmir. He accused the Congress party of playing a major role in making Kashmir a disputed region. “It was Congress that made Kashmir disputed. Today, under PM Modi and Amit Shah, Kashmir has been freed from terrorism,” Yogi stated. He emphasized that the current administration had successfully dealt with terrorism in the region, contrasting it with the Congress-led governance that allowed Kashmir’s problems to escalate.

Adityanath also shared a story about an actor who was able to visit Kashmir only after 27 years, highlighting the impact of Congress’s policies on the region. He further stated, “It was Congress’ sin that Hindus had to leave Kashmir.” In his view, the efforts of PM Modi and Amit Shah had led to a peaceful Kashmir, and now people from Mithila and Bihar could visit the region without fear.

Opposition Parties Accused of Being ‘Anti-Ram’

The UP Chief Minister also directed his criticism at the opposition for allegedly disrespecting Hindu faith. Yogi accused Congress of questioning the existence of Lord Ram and Mata Janaki. He recalled that the party had once filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court denying their existence. This, according to Yogi, was an attack on people’s faith.

Moreover, Adityanath claimed that RJD tried to stop the Ram Rath Yatra and that the Samajwadi Party had ordered the firing on Ram devotees in Ayodhya. He painted a grim picture of the party’s role in turning the holy city into a scene of violence, with “blood on the streets.” The Chief Minister suggested that the INDIA bloc’s stance on these matters showed their lack of respect for Hindu sentiments.

Yogi Adityanath’s National Security Concerns

Yogi Adityanath’s speech wasn’t just about local politics; he also raised concerns about national security. He alleged that the INDIA bloc was contributing to weakening the security situation in Bihar by supporting what he referred to as the “family mafia.” These leaders, according to him, were inviting infiltrators, which posed a serious risk to the state and the nation as a whole.

Drawing on Bihar’s past, Yogi reminded the audience of the violent period during the RJD rule, when over 70 massacres took place in the state. “During RJD rule, over 70 massacres took place in Bihar. They pitted caste against caste, made daughters and traders feel unsafe, and destroyed law and order with guns and pistols,” he claimed. He accused the opposition of deliberately stoking caste divisions to further their political interests, which he argued only served to destabilize the region and undermine the country’s security.

In his view, the INDIA bloc’s actions had weakened the law and order situation in Bihar, making the state unsafe for its citizens. He further stated that these political parties had divided the people of Bihar along caste lines, which in turn had a negative impact on the national security of the country. According to Yogi, the opposition’s approach to governance not only compromised Bihar’s security but also endangered India’s broader national interests.

Yogi Adityanath’s rally in Darbhanga was a pointed and forceful attack on the INDIA alliance. Through his sharp criticism, he sought to portray the opposition parties as unfit for governance, accusing them of neglecting the poor, disrespecting Hindu faith, and undermining national security. By invoking the issues of Kashmir, Bihar’s law and order, and the allegations of weakening national security, Yogi positioned himself as a defender of the people and the country. His rhetoric was aimed at galvanizing his supporters and making it clear that he believes the BJP and NDA government are the only ones capable of leading India towards progress and security.

In contrast to the opposition’s alleged failures, Yogi Adityanath painted a picture of a government under Narendra Modi that was dedicated to the welfare of the people, strengthening national security, and respecting religious sentiments. His speech in Darbhanga made it clear that the upcoming political battles in Bihar and beyond would be shaped by these contrasting visions for the future of the country.
