Ayush Kumar’s Journey from Struggles to Success: Achieving a 13 Lakh Package at BEL

Published on

Ayush Kumar, a bright and determined student from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT), has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a prestigious position as a Probationary Engineer at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) with an annual package of 13 lakhs. His journey, however, has been anything but easy. Coming from a humble background, Ayush’s path to success is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and the support of his family and teachers.

A Dream to Become an Engineer

From a young age, Ayush aspired to become an engineer. This dream was deeply rooted in his childhood, and despite facing numerous challenges, he never gave up on his goal. After his father, Raju Prasad Gupta, passed away during his childhood, Ayush’s life took a difficult turn. Despite this immense loss, Ayush didn’t let his circumstances deter him from pursuing his dreams. His mother, Anita Gupta, a homemaker, has been a constant source of support, helping him navigate through the hardships that life threw his way.

Ayush completed his early education at DAV school and later attended the Government College in Madanpur for his higher secondary education. With a strong foundation in academics, he then went on to pursue his engineering degree at MIT, Muzaffarpur, specializing in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His journey from a small town to one of the prominent engineering colleges was driven by his determination to achieve his goals.

The Road to MIT and GATE Preparation

Ayush’s entrance into MIT was a result of his performance in the JEE Mains examination. He enrolled in the 2020-2024 batch at MIT, and during his time there, Ayush began preparing for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam. He was determined to make it big and sought better opportunities, particularly in public sector enterprises like BEL.

In his first attempt at GATE, Ayush didn’t secure the rank he was hoping for, which meant he couldn’t get into his preferred institutions. However, this setback didn’t discourage him. Instead, it fueled his determination. Ayush began his preparations again, this time with even more focus and dedication, aiming for a stronger performance in the next GATE exam.

A Landmark Achievement with BEL

Ayush’s hard work bore fruit in his second attempt at GATE, when he secured a decent rank and was able to gain admission to IIT Delhi. However, during this time, Ayush had already secured a job offer from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in his very first attempt. With a lucrative package of 13 lakhs per annum and a position in Bengaluru, Ayush made the decision to forgo IIT Delhi and accept the BEL offer. This was a pivotal moment in his career, as he knew that the job offer was a great opportunity to realize his dreams.

Though Ayush received a campus placement offer of 4.5 lakhs annually during his college placement drive, he had bigger aspirations. He decided to reject the college offer in favor of preparing for the GATE exam, hoping for a better opportunity, which eventually came in the form of BEL.

Support from Family and Teachers

Throughout his journey, Ayush credits his success to the unwavering support of his mother and his teachers. He mentions that his mother was always there for him, providing emotional and moral support, even in the toughest times. His teachers at MIT, especially in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, played a crucial role in keeping his motivation high and helping him remain focused on his goals. Ayush always believed that with discipline, hard work, and integrity, success would eventually come.

He also thanks his mentors for encouraging him to stay positive and work hard, especially when things were not going as planned. Their belief in him helped him continue his journey toward success, even after facing setbacks.

A Message for Fellow Students

Ayush now serves as an inspiration to students across the country. He encourages others to be clear about their goals and to stay disciplined in their efforts. He emphasizes that while the road to success is not easy, with dedication, hard work, and a clear focus on one’s objectives, success is inevitable. Ayush’s story is a testament to the power of persistence and the importance of not giving up, even in the face of adversity.

Recognition from MIT Faculty

Ayush’s accomplishment has been celebrated at MIT, Muzaffarpur, where his achievement has brought immense pride to the entire institution. The director of MIT, Prof. (Dr.) Mithilesh Kumar Jha, congratulated Ayush on his success, calling it a moment of pride for the college. Other key faculty members, including Training and Placement Officer Prof. Deepak Kumar Chaudhary, Registrar Prof. Rajnish Kumar, and all the teachers from his department, also congratulated Ayush for his remarkable achievement.

The Bigger Dream and Future Aspirations

For Ayush, this is just the beginning. While securing a 13 lakh per annum job at BEL is a significant accomplishment, his ultimate goal is to continue advancing in his career and contribute to the field of engineering. He is driven by the desire to achieve even greater heights in his professional life and hopes to inspire other students from small towns to pursue their dreams, just as he did.

Ayush’s story exemplifies the idea that no dream is too big to achieve, regardless of the circumstances you are born into. His journey from a small village to a leading company like BEL reflects the power of hard work, resilience, and a clear vision.

Ayush Kumar’s journey is not just about securing a prestigious job with a high salary; it is a story of overcoming personal struggles, maintaining a focus on one’s goals, and the role that family and teachers play in shaping an individual’s future. From losing his father at a young age to achieving a dream job at BEL, Ayush’s life is a shining example of how perseverance can lead to success.

His achievement at BEL, with a salary package of 13 lakhs, is a major accomplishment for someone from a humble background. It also highlights the importance of pursuing one’s passion and staying true to one’s goals. Ayush’s story should inspire every student to believe in their potential and keep working hard toward their dreams. Success may not come easily, but with the right mindset and support, anything is possible.

As Ayush begins his new chapter in Bengaluru with BEL, his journey will continue to serve as an inspiration to many students aspiring to achieve their goals, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.
