The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to release the RRB NTPC UG Admit Card 2025. Candidates preparing for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate Level Exam have been eagerly awaiting the release of the hall ticket. According to the official notification by RRB, the admit cards will be available four days before the exam date. The NTPC UG Exam will be held from 7 August to 9 September 2025.

The RRB NTPC UG recruitment is one of the most competitive exams conducted by Indian Railways. This year, the board will conduct recruitment for 3445 undergraduate non-technical posts under this drive. Candidates must download their admit cards from the respective regional RRB websites once they are available.

Admit Card Release Date and How to Download

RRB has confirmed that the NTPC UG admit cards will be released exactly four days before the exam date. Therefore, candidates scheduled to appear on 7 August 2025 can expect their hall tickets by 3 August 2025. Those appearing later can download theirs accordingly.

To download the admit card, candidates need to follow a few simple steps. Visit the regional RRB website, click on the NTPC UG Admit Card 2025 link, and log in using the registration number and password. After login, the admit card will appear on the screen. Candidates should download the file and take a printout for the examination day.

It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card to the exam center. Without it, no candidate will be allowed entry.

Examination Schedule and Duration

The RRB NTPC Undergraduate Exam 2025 will run for over a month, beginning on 7 August and ending on 9 September. During this period, multiple shifts and sessions will be conducted across India. The exam will be held online in Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Each candidate will get 90 minutes to complete the exam. The paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into three sections. These include General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

General Awareness will have 40 questions, while Mathematics and Reasoning will have 30 questions each. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers, so candidates must attempt questions carefully.

Exam Pattern Overview

The first stage CBT is common for all NTPC UG posts. This stage acts as the qualifying round for the second stage of selection. The total marks for the CBT are 100. Candidates will be ranked based on their performance in this test, and further selection will depend on cutoff marks.

The pattern aims to test a candidate’s analytical ability, current affairs knowledge, and quantitative aptitude. To excel in the test, students should focus on concept clarity, speed, and accuracy. Regular practice of mock tests and previous year papers is highly recommended.

Key Details to Check on Admit Card

After downloading the RRB NTPC Admit Card 2025, candidates must check all the printed details carefully. Any mismatch or incorrect information should be immediately reported to the regional board. The hall ticket contains crucial information such as:

  • Candidate’s full name

  • Date of birth

  • Roll number and registration number

  • Exam name and stage

  • Examination date and reporting time

  • Address of the examination center

  • Candidate’s photograph and signature

  • Guidelines for appearing in the exam

Candidates should read all the exam day instructions thoroughly to avoid any issues during the test. The reporting time must be strictly followed.

What to Carry on Exam Day

Along with the printed admit card, candidates are required to bring a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport. It is advisable to carry at least two passport-size photographs, preferably the same as uploaded during the registration process.

Candidates should also carry a transparent water bottle, a black ballpoint pen, and personal hand sanitizer. Electronic devices, calculators, notes, and books are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

Wearing a mask may still be required depending on local health guidelines. It is important to follow all instructions provided by exam authorities at the center.

Overview of Posts under NTPC UG Recruitment 2025

The NTPC UG recruitment targets non-technical posts that do not require a graduate degree. Positions under this category include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.

These jobs are in high demand because they provide job security, fixed working hours, and attractive pay packages under the 7th Pay Commission. Selection is based on performance in the computer-based test, followed by typing or skill test for certain posts.

Once selected, candidates will undergo document verification and medical fitness tests before receiving their final appointment.

Regional Websites to Download Admit Card

Since RRB operates regionally, each candidate must visit the official website of the RRB zone they applied to. Admit cards will not be sent via post or email. Regional websites include RRB Mumbai, RRB Allahabad, RRB Chennai, RRB Kolkata, RRB Bangalore, RRB Secunderabad, and many others.

Candidates should keep checking their regional portal and also monitor registered email or SMS alerts for updates. The official website will provide the most accurate details about exam center allocation and shift timings.

Final Preparation Tips for Candidates

With the exam starting soon, candidates must now focus on revision and mock practice. Emphasis should be placed on speed-based problem solving, quick reasoning, and staying updated with recent events for the General Awareness section.

Taking regular mock tests under timed conditions will help build exam temperament. Accuracy is crucial, especially because of the negative marking. Candidates should avoid last-minute stress and maintain a balanced study plan.

Time management during the exam will be key to attempting all 100 questions within 90 minutes.

The RRB NTPC UG Exam 2025 is just days away, and candidates should stay prepared. With the admit card releasing four days before the test date, applicants must ensure they regularly check the official RRB websites.

This is a major opportunity for aspirants seeking stable government jobs in the Indian Railways sector. Proper planning, consistent preparation, and following exam guidelines will play a crucial role in success.

The recruitment drive for 3445 undergraduate posts is expected to attract lakhs of candidates. Those who have been preparing seriously must now shift into revision mode and stay mentally focused.
