CM Yogi Adityanath Hails PM Modi’s 11 Years as ‘Golden Era,’ Criticizes Congress Rule

Published on

KKN Gurugram Desk | Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11-year tenure as a “golden era” for India, asserting that his leadership has brought global recognition to the nation and propelled it towards unprecedented development and self-reliance. Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, CM Adityanath also sharply criticized previous Congress regimes, contrasting their governance with the stability and progress witnessed under PM Modi.

Key Achievements and ‘Golden Era’ Vision

CM Adityanath highlighted that the past 11 years under PM Modi have not only restored public trust, which he claimed was eroded by unstable governments, but also significantly improved India’s image on the global stage. He emphasized that governance under Prime Minister Modi has been characterized by freedom from corruption, appeasement politics, and dynastic rule. This shift, according to the Chief Minister, has allowed India to make remarkable strides in development and become ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant).

“These 11 years of PM Narendra Modi will be known as a golden era,” CM Adityanath stated. He elaborated that the government’s clear policy, transparent working mechanisms, and accountability to the public have become the hallmarks of this new era of governance. He pointed out that the achievements of the last 11 years are not mere slogans but a testament to a harmonious blend of heritage and development, taking the common populace along towards global recognition.

Beyond Slogans: Tangible Development and Inclusivity

Adityanath stressed that the benefits of government schemes are now distributed based on need, rather than on the basis of political appeasement. He asserted a paradigm shift from ‘appeasement’ (tushtikaran) to ‘satisfaction’ (santushtikaran) as the guiding principle for policy formulation. This approach, he argued, ensures that development reaches every section of society without discrimination.

The Chief Minister also emphasized that the 11-year period has been viewed as a period of renewed strength for India. He credited PM Modi with transforming the perception of peace and security that existed before 2014. He further added that PM Modi has actively promoted the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India) and has embraced the ‘Panch Pran’ (Five Pledges) as a guiding mantra for his entire 11-year tenure.

Transforming Education and Healthcare Landscape

CM Adityanath provided concrete examples of growth and development, particularly in the education and healthcare sectors. He highlighted that even amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, India was proactively implementing its National Education Policy. He proudly stated the significant increase in premier educational institutions like IITs and IIMs. “After 2014, seven new IITs and eight new IIMs have been established,” he informed the press.

Drawing a sharp contrast with previous administrations, CM Adityanath pointed out that while the Congress government established only one AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure saw the establishment of six AIIMS, PM Modi’s tenure since 2014 has witnessed the establishment of a remarkable 23 new AIIMS. He further highlighted the immense reach of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, stating that over 50 crore people have benefited from this flagship health insurance scheme.

A Vision for the Next 25 Years: India’s Global Stature

The Chief Minister concluded by reiterating the government’s commitment to a meticulously planned roadmap for the next 25 years. He asserted that in these 11 years, India has not only forged a new identity in social and cultural aspects but also excelled on the fronts of service, good governance, and economic progress. The emphasis on ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all) has been central to this transformation.

CM Adityanath’s remarks underscore the BJP’s narrative of transformative change under PM Modi’s leadership, aiming to solidify public perception of a strong, stable, and rapidly developing India. As the nation looks towards further progress, the focus on these achievements will likely remain a key aspect of the government’s communication strategy.
