KKN Gurugram Desk | The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG 2025 examination on May 4, 2025, across 5,453 centers in over 500 cities, including 14 international locations, with more than 22.7 lakh candidates appearing for the exam.
Provisional Answer Key Release
The NTA is expected to release the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2025 between May 29 and June 2, 2025. Candidates will be able to download the answer key, OMR response sheets, and recorded responses from the official website,
Challenging the Answer Key
Upon release of the provisional answer key, the NTA will open an objection window, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies. A non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question will be applicable for each challenge. After reviewing the objections, the NTA will publish the final answer key, which will form the basis for result evaluation.
Result Declaration
The NEET UG 2025 results are expected to be declared on June 14, 2025. Candidates will be able to check their results on the official website by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
Counselling Process
Following the declaration of results, the NEET UG 2025 counselling process is likely to commence in the fourth week of July 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while respective state authorities will manage the counselling for 85% state quota seats.
