JEE Mains 2025 Result: Topper List, Cutoff, and Everything You Need to Know

KKN Gurugram Desk | The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for JEE Mains 2025 for B.E./B.Tech courses. The exam was held in two sessions — January and April, and the results are now available on the official JEE Mains website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). This year, 24 students have achieved a perfect 100 percentile, which is an exciting development in the history of JEE Mains.

The JEE Mains 2025 results include the All India Ranks (AIR) based on both sessions of the exam, and students can now check their scores, ranks, and category-wise cutoffs. Additionally, details about JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff, state-wise toppers, and other important information are provided in this comprehensive guide.

JEE Mains 2025 Results Released: Key Highlights

  • Release Date: The results for JEE Mains 2025 were released by the NTA on Friday night at midnight.

  • Top Scorers: This year, 24 candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile. In comparison, last year (2024), only 56 candidates had secured 100 percentile.

  • JEE Advanced Cutoff: The cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025 has remained almost the same as last year, with a slight decrease in some categories.

  • Total Candidates: A total of 2,50,236 students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025, slightly fewer than the previous year’s 2,50,284.

JEE Mains 2025 Toppers: List of Students with 100 Percentile

This year, the JEE Mains 2025 results saw a significant achievement with 24 students scoring the perfect 100 percentile. Among these, Rajasthan emerged as the leading state with 7 candidates achieving the perfect score. Following this, states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana had 3 candidates each securing 100 percentile. The capital Delhi had two students, Daksh and Harsh Jha, who both achieved 100 percentile in the January session of the exam.

Some other states like Gujarat, West Bengal, and Karnataka also contributed to this list with 2 students each. Notably, Sai Manogna from Andhra Pradesh and Devdatta Majhi from West Bengal, both female candidates, also secured perfect scores of 100.

Category-wise JEE Mains 2025 Topper List

  • General Category: 21 candidates achieved 100 percentile in the general category.

  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section): V. Ajay Reddy from Telangana topped the EWS category.

  • OBC (Other Backward Classes): Daksh from Delhi topped the OBC NCL category.

  • SC (Scheduled Castes): Shreyas Lohiya from Uttar Pradesh secured the top rank in the SC category.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cut Off and Analysis

The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff has not seen significant changes compared to previous years. Although there were expectations of a slight increase in the cutoff, the changes have been minimal. The cutoff for General category has seen a slight decrease compared to the 2024 cutoff.

  • General Category: 93.23 percentile (down from 94.23 percentile in 2024)

  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section): The cutoff remains similar to the previous year.

  • OBC: No significant change, with a slight decrease in some subcategories.

The total number of candidates eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025 is 2,50,236. Last year, the number was 2,50,284, showing a minimal decrease.

JEE Mains 2025: Candidate Statistics

The total number of candidates who registered for JEE Mains 2025 was approximately 15,39,848, and 14,75,103 unique candidates appeared for the exam across both sessions. This indicates a participation rate of about 95.79%.

  • January Session: Out of 13.11 lakh registered candidates, 12.58 lakh appeared for the exam.

  • April Session: Out of 10.61 lakh registered candidates, 9.92 lakh appeared for the exam.

In total, 8,33,536 candidates registered for both sessions, with 7,75,383 candidates appearing for both, demonstrating the popularity and significance of this national-level exam.

The JEE Mains 2025 results reflect a year of exceptional performances, especially with 24 students scoring the perfect 100 percentile. With cutoffs remaining stable, the competition for JEE Advanced 2025 will be intense, but hopeful candidates have a fair chance of securing admission to the prestigious IITs.
