KKN Gurugram Desk | In Bihar, criminals are finding themselves increasingly cornered as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has issued stern directives to the police, urging them to take decisive action against crime. Over the past few days, the state police have been actively engaged in a series of operations that have led to multiple encounters with notorious criminals. Along with these encounters, several criminals have been arrested, signaling a tough stance on lawlessness.

Earlier this year, in January, a special team of the State Task Force (STF) succeeded in eliminating two infamous criminals who had bounties of ₹50,000 each on their heads. In addition, eight Naxals were apprehended during this period. This is just a glimpse of the action taken by Bihar’s law enforcement, with a total of 227 criminals being caught so far. Among those arrested, 29 are notorious gangsters with bounties on their heads.

Over the last three months, several districts, including Patna, have witnessed four encounters between the police and criminals. These operations have not only led to the arrest of offenders but have also successfully dismantled criminal networks operating in the region.
