Rana was arrested in October 2009 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Chicago on charges of providing material support to the LeT and facilitating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and a failed plot in Copenhagen. NIA Interrogation: What Did Rana Reveal? During recent interrogations by NIA officials, Rana made several damning revelations: He confessed to being in Mumbai during the 26/11 attacks. He acknowledged working as an agent of the Pakistani Army and ISI. He admitted that he underwent multiple training sessions in Pakistan with LeT along with David Coleman Headley, the convicted mastermind of the Mumbai attacks.
