After a remarkable performance in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Chirag Paswan, the leader of LJP (Ram Vilas), attributed the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) sweeping victory to the unity within the alliance. He also noted that the voters' rejection of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) played a significant role in this success. Chirag's LJP, which won 19 seats, saw a massive jump from their performance in the 2020 elections, where the party had failed to win a single seat. "In 2020, we had zero MLAs, but this time, we have made a strong comeback by securing 19," said Chirag.
