Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has revealed that he had a lot of trouble with playing two bowlers in the initial days. While chatting live on Instagram with Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma said that, he initially had trouble facing Australian fast bowler Brett Lee and South African fast bowler Dale Steyn.
When Mohammed Shami asked Rohit Sharma which bowler is his favourite, he said, at present, there are many bowlers that I like. First Rohit Sharma named South African fast bowler Rabada, then he named Australia’s bowler Josh Hazlewood at number two. In this sequence, he said about Brett Lee and Dale Steyn, that I had trouble playing him.
Rohit Sharma said, “When I came into the team, Brett Lee was the fastest bowler in the world at that time. He said, when he went to Ireland to face South Africa in their first ODI series, Dale Steyn also bowled very fast at that time.
Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma started his career in One Day International Cricket in the year 2007, which was a tri-series between South Africa, Ireland and India. From that time until 2013, he batted in the middle order, but after 2013, Rohit became the regular opener of the Indian team and is still intact. Also batsman Rohit Sharma has become the only batsman in the world who score 3 double centuries in ODI International cricket. With this, he has also made a world record by scoring 264 personal runs in an innings.
