The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for thunderstorms and lightning in 17 districts of Bihar, including Patna. According to weather forecasts, these areas are likely to experience partial cloud cover and light rainfall in the coming days. However, there are no major temperature changes expected in the near future. On Friday, the maximum temperature in Patna was recorded at 35.4°C, while Purnia saw a maximum temperature of 37.4°C.

As per the latest weather update, thunderstorms and lightning have been predicted for Patna and several surrounding districts in Bihar. The weather department has informed that these areas will witness cloudy skies, along with light rainfall at some locations.   • Bhojpur: 12.2mm in Bihiya

  • Jehanabad: 8mm in Jehanabad town

  • Arwal: 6.2mm in Karpi

  • Ekangarsarai: 5.2mm

  • Patna: 5mm in Punpun

In total, several parts of Bihar have experienced varying levels of rainfall in the past 24 hours, though Patna saw a particularly dry day, with no significant rainfall recorded.
