Tata Motors: Launch of New Subsidiary ‘Tata Motors Digital.AI Labs’

Bank of Maharashtra: SEBI Issues Administrative Warning

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued an administrative warning letter to the Bank of Maharashtra for failing to conduct at least one meeting of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee in FY 2023 and 2024. However, this warning is not expected to affect the bank’s financial or operational activities.

IREDA: Increases Borrowing Limit for FY 2024-25

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has increased its borrowing limit for FY 2024-25 by ₹5,000 crore, bringing the total limit to ₹29,200 crore. This additional funding will come through taxable bonds, subordinated Tier-II bonds, perpetual debt instruments, loans from banks and financial institutions, lines of credit from international agencies, external commercial borrowings, and short-term loans.

JM Financial: Private Wealth Business Transfer to Subsidiary

JM Financial Limited’s board has approved the business transfer agreement to transfer its private wealth business to its subsidiary JM Financial Services Limited. The transfer, valued at ₹11.08 crore, will be effective from April 1, 2025.

Coffee Day Enterprises: Debt Settlement with IDBI Trusteeship

Coffee Day Enterprises, the parent company of Café Coffee Day, is negotiating a settlement agreement with IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd (IDBITSL) regarding a debt of ₹228.45 crore. The debt led to IDBITSL filing an insolvency petition against the company, which was accepted by the National Company Law Tribunal on August 8, 2024.
