KKN Gurugram Desk | The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially released the notification for Class 6 admissions for the academic session 2026–27 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across India. Students and parents eager to secure admission in one of India’s premier government-run residential schools can now submit their applications online. The last date to apply is July 29, 2025.

How to Apply for JNV Class 6 Admission 2026

Interested students or their guardians can register by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: navodaya.gov.in

  2. Click on the link: “JNV Class VI Admission 2026”

  3. Read the official notification carefully

  4. Fill in personal, academic, and domicile details

 Documents Required for JNV Application

Make sure to keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before applying:

  • Proof of date of birth (Birth certificate or school record)

  • Certificate verified by Head of School (as per NVS format)

  • Photograph of the student (passport size)

Eligibility Criteria for JNV Class 6 Admission

To apply, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

  • Must be studying in Class 5 during the academic year 2025–26 in a recognized government or private school

  • Should be born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016 (both dates inclusive)

  • Must apply for the school in the same district where they are currently studying
