KKN Gurugram Desk | The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released the notification for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025. The recruitment will fill 1,250 posts across various departments of the Bihar state government.
The online application process will begin on June 2, 2025, and the last date to apply is June 30, 2025. The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for August 30, 2025.

The recruitment process involves three stages:
Type: Objective (MCQ)
Total Questions: 150
Duration: 2 hours
Subjects: General Studies (Only one paper)
Qualifying Nature: Marks will not be counted in final merit but are required to qualify for Mains.
Total Papers: Three
General Hindi (Qualifying)
General Studies Paper I
General Studies Paper II
One Optional Subject (chosen by the candidate)
Marks: Each paper is 300 marks
Duration per Paper: 3 hours
Note: Hindi is qualifying (Minimum 30% required); other papers count in merit.
Total Marks: 120
Candidates who clear Mains are called for the personality test/interview.
Final merit list is prepared based on performance in Mains and Interview.

Law
Psychology
Management, etc.
Note: Optional subjects must be selected based on academic background and interest, as they carry substantial weight in final selection.
