KKN Gurugram Desk | Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bihar on a two-day tour following the recent success of Operation Sindoor. The visit, which is both administrative and political in nature, will include the inauguration and foundation-laying of multiple infrastructure projects, including key airport developments.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is actively preparing to welcome the Prime Minister, while the state administration is focused on ensuring full-proof security.
PM Modi will arrive in Patna on 29 May.
He will inaugurate the new terminal building at Patna Airport.
Post inauguration, he will lay the foundation stone for the Bihata Airport project—one of Bihar’s long-pending aviation infrastructure demands.
From the airport, PM Modi will head straight to the BJP state headquarters in Patna.
He will interact with BJP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and other state-level party officials.
This meeting aims to assess BJP’s ground-level preparedness ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.
On the second day of his visit, PM Modi will address a large public rally in Bikramganj.
The rally will be used to communicate recent achievements of the central government and mobilize party workers ahead of elections.
A grand roadshow will also be organized in Patna in honour of the PM’s visit to the BJP headquarters. According to BJP’s Bihar unit president Dilip Jaiswal, supporters will shower flower petals on the PM along the route.
This symbolic gesture aims to energize the cadre and attract public attention to the party’s growing footprint in the state.
Local law enforcement and central agencies are coordinating for tiered security arrangements.
Traffic diversions and crowd control measures will be implemented in key zones.
Drone surveillance and sniffer dogs are expected to be deployed near high-traffic public venues.
In a media briefing, Jaiswal stated:
“We are fully prepared for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. This is not just an event; it is a moment of pride for every BJP worker in Bihar. The PM’s visit will mark the launch of transformative projects and reinforce our electoral readiness at the booth level.”
PM Modi’s interaction with state leaders will likely focus on:
Micro-level booth management for 2025 Assembly elections
Evaluating MLAs’ performance and on-ground reach
Finalizing candidate strategies for key constituencies
Assessing public perception post-Operation Sindoor
