KKN Gurugram Desk | On the second day of his high-profile Bihar tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive public meeting in Karakat after a vibrant roadshow alongside Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary.
As the state gears up for the upcoming elections, PM Modi’s visit marks a critical moment in the NDA’s campaign strategy, aiming to consolidate voter support across key constituencies in Bihar.
Addressing a packed crowd, PM Modi emphasized his government’s commitment to infrastructure development, job creation, and clean governance in Bihar.
“Bihar is the land of history and potential. With the support of Nitish Ji and Samrat Ji, we are scripting a new chapter of development for this great state,” the Prime Minister declared.
He announced and laid the foundation for several new infrastructure and welfare projects, including highways, irrigation schemes, and health initiatives.
The Karakat Lok Sabha constituency has emerged as a politically significant region. With shifting alliances and local dynamics, the NDA is focusing heavily on ensuring a clean sweep in areas like Karakat.
PM Modi’s presence reflects the importance of the Rohtas-Aurangabad political belt, where development and caste equations often influence electoral outcomes.
By holding a roadshow followed by a mass rally, the NDA leadership aims to energize the cadre and project unity among alliance partners — especially after Nitish Kumar’s return to the NDA fold earlier this year.
One of the key highlights of the day was the joint appearance of Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar, and Samrat Choudhary, which sent a strong message of coalition strength and coordination.
Political observers believe this event was carefully crafted to quell any rumors of rift and present a united front to voters.
The sight of Modi and Nitish together is symbolic. It reminds voters of their long-standing alliance, while projecting a forward-looking developmental vision.
During the event, PM Modi launched or inaugurated several projects that are set to improve infrastructure and quality of life in Bihar, including:
New National Highway expansions
Irrigation systems for agrarian belts
Healthcare facilities in rural regions
Clean drinking water programs
Skill development centers for youth
These announcements tie into the BJP-led central government’s larger narrative of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, reinforcing Bihar’s integration into India’s broader development story.
While the NDA showcased unity and intent, opposition parties like the RJD and Congress were noticeably critical but lacked any counter-show of strength in the region today. Analysts suggest that the timing and scale of Modi’s roadshow may put pressure on opposition coordination, especially in key constituencies.
