For Group C Posts:
Must have passed 10+2 (12th) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
For technical positions: ITI certificate in relevant trade is mandatory.
For Group D Posts:
Must have passed 10th grade.
For engineering-related departments: 10th + ITI in relevant trade is essential.
For other departments: 10th pass / ITI / equivalent qualifications are acceptable.
Group C Posts: 18 to 30 years
Group D (Level-1) Posts: 18 to 33 years
SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
OBC Candidates: 3 years
Others (as per rules): As applicable under central government norms

Candidates will be selected based on a two-stage evaluation:

Questions will test General Knowledge, Scouts & Guides Skills, Current Affairs, and Railway-related Knowledge.
National or State Level Scout certificates, participation in rallies, and official training camps will be considered.
After the written test:
Document Verification (DV): All shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit original educational, caste, and scout-related certificates.
Medical Examination: Conducted to ensure candidates meet the medical fitness criteria required for railway duty.
Salaries will be offered as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) rules.
Group C (Level-2): ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 (approx.)
Group D (Level-1): ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 (approx.)
