Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and hit director Atlee were set to collaborate on a high-budget film titled A6. Reports suggested that Rajinikanth might also join the project. However, fresh rumors indicate that the film might be shelved due to budget concerns. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for his next big release, ‘Sikandar’, directed by AR Murugadoss.
After the massive success of ‘Jawan’, Atlee was planning another big-budget pan-India film. According to reports, A6 was supposed to blend period drama and reincarnation themes, making it a unique cinematic experience. The film was set to be produced with a whopping ₹500 crore budget.
Speculation was rife that Atlee was in talks with either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan to play a parallel lead alongside Salman Khan. Pre-production work had already started, and Salman was reportedly working on a special body transformation for his role.
While some reports claim that A6 is in progress, Masala.com has suggested that the project has been put on hold indefinitely. The film’s cancellation is speculated to be due to budget constraints or other production issues.
However, neither Salman Khan nor Atlee has issued an official statement regarding the film’s status. This uncertainty has left fans wondering whether the project will move forward or not.
If the film gets a green light, it is expected to be a pan-India release, likely hitting the screens in 2026. With a storyline centered around reincarnation and historical drama, the film promised to be different from Salman Khan’s usual action-packed roles.
Amid all the rumors about A6, Salman Khan is busy working on his upcoming action-packed entertainer, ‘Sikandar’. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film features a star-studded cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in crucial roles.
The big question remains: Will Salman Khan and Atlee’s ₹500 crore project move forward, or is it just speculation? Fans eagerly await an official confirmation from the makers. If it happens, A6 has the potential to be one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood history.
