The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to commence the RRB NTPC UG Exam 2025 from tomorrow, August 7, 2025. This computer-based examination will continue until September 9, 2025. The admit cards for the examination have been released and are now available on the official websites of regional RRBs. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 3,445 positions under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for undergraduate-level posts.

RRB NTPC UG Exam Overview

The RRB NTPC UG Exam 2025 will consist of a computer-based test (CBT) conducted in two stages. The first stage of the CBT will be common for all candidates, meaning every applicant will have to appear for this test. The CBT will be of 90 minutes’ duration, consisting of 100 questions. These questions will cover three main subjects: General Awareness (40 questions), Mathematics (30 questions), and General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 questions).

The selection process for these posts will involve multiple stages. After the first stage CBT, candidates will have to undergo a Computer-Based Typing Skill Test (TST) for certain posts. The typing skill test will be mandatory for the Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist and Junior Clerk-cum-Typist positions. For other posts, including Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk and Train Clerk, two stages of CBT will be conducted, followed by document verification and medical examination. A crucial point to note is that negative marking will be implemented, with one-third of the marks being deducted for every wrong answer.
