KKN Gurugram Desk | The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially declared the results for ICSE 10th and ISC 12th board examinations for the year 2025. Students who appeared for the examinations can now check their results and download their scorecards from the official CISCE websites – cisce.org and results.cisce.org. To access the results, students will need to enter their unique ID, index number, and the captcha code displayed on the login page.
The ICSE 10th exams were held from February 18 to March 27, 2025, while the ISC 12th exams took place from February 13 to April 5, 2025. Students can now download their ICSE and ISC 2025 results using the direct links provided on the CISCE official websites. The results can also be checked through DigiLocker and SMS for added convenience.
Visit the CISCE Official Website: Go to the CISCE official website at cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
Select the Result Link: On the homepage, click on the result link for ICSE 10th or ISC 12th results, depending on your class.
Enter Required Details: A new page will appear, asking for your unique ID, index number, and the captcha code.
Submit the Details: After entering the required information, click on the submit button.
Download Your Result: Once your result is displayed on the screen, you can download and save the marksheet for future reference.
To pass the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th exams:
ICSE 10th: Students need to secure at least 35% marks in each subject and a 33% overall to pass the examination.
ISC 12th: Similarly, ISC students must obtain at least 40% marks in each subject, with a minimum of 40% overall to be declared as pass.
If a student fails in one or two subjects, they will be given an opportunity to appear for the compartment exams to improve their results.
The overall pass percentage for ICSE 10th in 2025 is 99.09%, which indicates a significant success rate for students across the country.
For ISC 12th, the pass percentage is also high, with students from all streams showcasing strong performances.
CISCE decided to discontinue publishing the topper list to avoid unhealthy competition among students. This step has been taken to foster a more supportive and encouraging environment for students.
For students who are not satisfied with their results or wish to improve their marks, CISCE has introduced provisions for rechecking and improvement exams:
Rechecking: Students can apply for rechecking their marks for any subject they are not satisfied with. The rechecking fee is ₹1,000 per subject.
Improvement Exams: Students who wish to improve their scores in one or two subjects can opt for improvement exams, which must be taken in the same year as the original examination.
To apply for rechecking or improvement exams, students can visit the CISCE website and fill out the required application forms.
In addition to the official websites, students can access and download their ICSE and ISC 2025 result through DigiLocker. Here’s how to do it:
Visit the DigiLocker website or open the DigiLocker app on your mobile device.
Click on the ICSE/ISC Result 2025 link.
Enter the necessary details such as unique ID, index number, captcha, and year of passing.
Once the result is displayed, download the marksheet and take a printout for future reference.
Apart from checking results online and through DigiLocker, students can also receive their results via SMS:
For ICSE 10th, students need to type ICSEUID and send it to 09248082883.
For ISC 12th, students need to type ISCUID and send it to 09248082883.
Additionally, students can check their results through other alternative channels like the Mobile App and third-party websites that may provide result access services.
