The Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test, also known as Bihar STET 2025, is one of the most awaited recruitment exams in the state. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, has announced that the online application process for the exam will begin from 8 September 2025. The detailed STET notification 2025 will soon be released on the official website.

Candidates aspiring to become teachers in Bihar schools will be able to apply online. The last date to submit the application form is 16 September 2025. Those who qualify the STET exam will be eligible to apply for the BPSC TRE-4 recruitment drive. This recruitment is expected to fill thousands of teaching posts in secondary and higher secondary schools across Bihar.

The TRE-4 examination will be conducted in December 2025. The exam is scheduled between 16 to 19 December 2025. The TRE-4 result will be released between 20 to 26 January 2026.

This recruitment is expected to fill thousands of vacant posts in government schools across Bihar, making it a golden opportunity for qualified candidates.

Why Bihar STET 2025 is Important

The Bihar STET 2025 is not only a gateway to the prestigious TRE-4 teacher recruitment but also a crucial exam for young graduates and postgraduates aspiring for teaching careers. The lifetime validity of the STET certificate makes it a highly valuable qualification.

Moreover, the state government has been focusing on improving education quality by appointing skilled and qualified teachers. With increasing demand for teachers across secondary and higher secondary levels, the STET exam ensures that only capable candidates enter the system.

How to Prepare for Bihar STET 2025

Candidates planning to appear in Bihar STET 2025 should focus on both their subject knowledge and teaching aptitude. Revision of core subjects is essential, as 100 questions in each paper will come directly from the subject area.

For the teaching aptitude section, candidates should prepare topics like pedagogy, child psychology, classroom management, and evaluation methods. Practicing previous year STET question papers will help understand the pattern better. Online mock tests are also recommended since the exam will be in CBT mode.

The Bihar STET 2025 exam is a major opportunity for aspiring teachers in Bihar. With applications opening on 8 September 2025 and closing on 16 September 2025, candidates must apply on time. The exam will be held from 4 to 25 October 2025, and results will be declared on 1 November 2025.

Qualifying this exam opens the door to the BPSC TRE-4 recruitment, scheduled in December, making it an essential step in a teaching career. With a clear exam pattern, defined eligibility, and lifetime certificate validity, the Bihar STET 2025 is an exam that every eligible candidate should aim for.

As Bihar prepares for another round of teacher recruitment, this exam will play a crucial role in shaping the future of education in the state.
