KKN Gurugram Desk | The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 10th board exams have officially started today, with over 15 lakh students appearing across the state. The exam is being conducted in two shifts – the first shift runs from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
To ensure a fair and organized examination process, more than 1,600 exam centers have been set up across Bihar. Among these, 73 centers are in the capital city, Patna. Each center is under CCTV surveillance, and police personnel have been deployed for security and anti-cheating measures.
The Bihar Board has released strict guidelines for students appearing in the matriculation exams. Every candidate must follow these rules to avoid disqualification.
The board has introduced these measures to maintain the integrity of the examination process and prevent any malpractices.

To ensure a cheat-free examination, the Bihar Board has implemented multiple security measures across all centers.
Students and invigilators have been instructed to strictly follow these guidelines. Anyone found violating the rules will face strict action from the board.
The BSEB has permitted only a few essential items inside the examination hall. These include:
✔ Admit card – Mandatory for entry.
✔ Transparent pen and pencil box – Only blue or black ink pens are allowed.
✔ School ID card – Required for identity verification.
✔ Water bottle – Only a transparent bottle is permitted.
❌ Electronic gadgets – Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators.
❌ Notes or chits – Any paper or unauthorized material.
❌ Jewelry or accessories – Rings, bracelets, or any metal objects.
❌ Bags and extra stationery – Only permitted writing materials are allowed.
The Bihar Board has made special arrangements for students with disabilities to ensure equal opportunities.
With exams being a crucial phase for students, parents and teachers have been advised to provide emotional and academic support.
The BSEB has been taking strict actions over the past few years to maintain transparency and discipline in board exams.
As the Bihar Board Matric Exam 2025 approaches, many teaching scholars and coaching institutes have extended their best wishes to students. Experts from various educational institutions have encouraged students to stay confident and give their best effort in the exams.
BRABU Ph.D. Scholar Kanhaiya Kumar also wished success to all students. Sharing his advice, he said:
“All the students should remain calm during the exam and try to solve simple questions first.”
His words aim to help students approach the exam strategically and with a positive mindset.
