In addition, it is mandatory for candidates to be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council. Without valid registration, the application will not be considered. The minimum age for applicants is 21 years as of 1 August 2025. The maximum age limit varies according to categories. Women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are eligible up to 42 years. Candidates are required to pay an application fee based on their category. For General, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections, the fee is ₹500. Applicants from outside Bihar, whether male or female, must pay ₹500. For differently abled candidates with 40 percent disability or more, the application fee is ₹125.
