PM Kisan Yojana 20th Installment Likely to Be Announced on July 18

Published on

Millions of Indian farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.

The announcement could be made within the next three days, sources suggest.

As per the latest update, the Central Government is expected to release the 20th installment on July 18, 2025.

The previous installment, the 19th, was credited in late February this year.

This time, the delay has left many farmers anxious about the credit status.

Before the release, beneficiaries must check if their name appears in the PM Kisan list.

If your name is missing, you may not receive the payment in your bank account.

Why the PM Kisan 20th Installment Matters

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months.

The scheme provides ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments.

These funds are directly transferred to the registered bank account of beneficiaries.

The scheme ensures financial assistance to small and marginal farmers across India.

Over 11 crore farmers are currently registered under PM Kisan Yojana.

The 20th installment will help crores of families manage seasonal farm expenses.

Possible Announcement Location: Motihari, Bihar

According to multiple reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Motihari, Bihar, on July 18.

Sources suggest the PM could announce the 20th installment during this visit.

Preparations have been made, and government officials are ready with updated beneficiary records.

How to Check Name in PM Kisan Beneficiary List

Follow these steps to check your name before the funds are released:

Step 1 – Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana: https://pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2 – Click on the “Farmer Corner” tab on the homepage.

Step 3 – Select the “Beneficiary List” option from the menu.

Step 4 – Enter required details like State, District, Sub-District, Block, and Village.

Step 5 – Click on “Get Report” to view the updated list.

If your name appears, you’re eligible to receive the upcoming ₹2,000 installment.

How to Check PM Kisan 20th Installment Status

Want to know if your payment is processed? Follow these steps to check status:

Step 1 – Go to the official PM Kisan portal.

Step 2 – Click on “Beneficiary Status” under the Farmer Corner section.

Step 3 – Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number.

Step 4 – Click on “Get Data” to check your payment history.

The status will display the latest installment release and transaction status.

What If Your Name Is Missing?

If your name is not in the beneficiary list, you may not receive the payment.

In that case, follow these steps:

  • Contact your local agriculture officer or Lekhpal immediately.

  • Visit your CSC (Common Service Center) for help with Aadhaar or bank update.

  • Re-register on the PM Kisan portal if required.

  • Ensure your Aadhaar is linked to your PM Kisan account.

Your Aadhaar, land records, and bank details must match government records to receive payments.

Common Reasons for Installment Failure

Several reasons may lead to payment failure or delay:

  • Aadhaar not linked with bank account.

  • Incorrect IFSC code or bank details.

  • Mismatch in farmer name across documents.

  • Incomplete eKYC process on the PM Kisan portal.

Fixing these errors can help ensure smooth installment transfers in the future.

eKYC Is Mandatory for PM Kisan Yojana

To receive your ₹2,000 under the 20th installment, eKYC is mandatory.

Visit the PM Kisan portal and complete eKYC using OTP verification.

If you’re unable to complete eKYC online, visit the nearest CSC center.

Without completing this step, your application may remain pending or get rejected.

What to Do If Payment Is Still Pending?

If your payment hasn’t been credited despite your name being on the list:

  • Recheck status using your registered Aadhaar or mobile number.

  • Confirm that eKYC and land verification is complete.

  • File a grievance through the official PM Kisan grievance portal.

  • Alternatively, visit the agriculture department or CSC in your area.

Expected Timeline and Final Thoughts

The 20th installment announcement is expected by July 18, 2025.

Farmers should complete all checks and verifications before this date.

With the monsoon season here, timely funds can support urgent agricultural expenses.

PM Kisan Yojana continues to be one of India’s most impactful farmer support schemes.

Eligible farmers must ensure they are registered, verified, and compliant with all rules.

This direct benefit transfer scheme aims to empower rural farmers financially.
