After announcing the recruitment of 19,838 constables in the police department, the state government is now focusing on the health sector, with Health Minister Mangal Pandey unveiling major reforms aimed at enhancing healthcare services across the state. On Thursday, while discussing the health department's budget, Minister Mangal Pandey made significant announcements. These included the creation of 66,108 new positions in the health department and the establishment of 1,500 new hospitals in rural areas. These steps are part of the government's ambitious plan to improve healthcare accessibility, particularly in underdeveloped and remote regions of Bihar. 66,108 Health Sector Job Openings in Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey confirmed that the Bihar government is pushing ahead with a large-scale recruitment drive to fill 66,108 positions in the health sector. Out of these, 38,733 positions will be for regular appointments in various categories, significantly boosting the state's healthcare workforce. This will help strengthen the existing infrastructure and ensure the availability of qualified professionals to cater to the needs of the growing population. Along with the regular positions, the government has also announced the appointment of 27,375 Asha (Accredited Social Health Activists) workers across rural and urban areas. The approval for these medical colleges has already been granted, and once completed, the number of medical colleges in Bihar will rise to 34.
