According to the latest forecast, both North and South Bihar are likely to experience weather disturbances, with varying intensities.

• A Yellow Alert is a cautionary warning for possible thunderstorm activity with lightning and wind speeds ranging between 30 to 40 km/h.

• An Orange Alert is a more serious notice, forecasting severe weather including thunderstorms, lightning, and wind gusts up to 60 km/h.

The following districts are under Orange Alert, with potential risks of thunderstorms and strong winds:

• West Champaran

• Gopalganj

On Friday, large parts of Bihar recorded hot and humid conditions, leading to higher maximum temperatures. Due to nighttime cloud cover, there was also a notable increase in minimum temperatures.
