This weather pattern is attributed to moisture-laden easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal and an active western disturbance affecting the region.

April 16: Yellow Alert

The IMD has placed the following districts under a yellow alert, anticipating thunderstorms with lightning and wind speeds reaching 30–40 km/h:

Temperature and Rainfall Data

The recent weather changes have led to a noticeable drop in temperatures across Bihar. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 34°C and 36°C, while minimum temperatures may hover between 22°C and 24°C.

In the past 48 hours, Jamui district recorded the highest rainfall at 48.6 mm, significantly impacting local conditions.
