Bihar Assembly Election 2025 : Final Day of Election Campaign for Second Phase

Published on

The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has entered its final stretch, with the second phase of voting scheduled for November 11. As the election campaign reaches its conclusion, all major political parties are intensifying their efforts to sway voters in the remaining time. Today marks the last day of campaigning, and various prominent leaders will be addressing rallies across the state.

High-Powered Campaigning on the Final Day

The final day of the election campaign for Bihar’s second phase will see a flurry of political activities. The second phase of voting, covering 122 seats, will take place on November 11. On Sunday, leaders from all major parties, including the ruling alliance and opposition, will hold rallies and public meetings across different districts of Bihar. Central Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public rally at Fazalganj Stadium in Sasaram, supporting NDA candidate Snehalata, wife of Upendra Kushwaha. Shah’s rally will be followed by another in Arwal.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will focus on addressing public gatherings in Rohtas, Aurangabad, and Kaimur districts. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be holding four rallies in different locations: Sitamarhi, Samastipur, West Champaran, and Madhubani. These rallies are expected to bring a significant boost to the NDA’s campaign. On the other hand, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav will also be holding public meetings in Arwal, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, and Kaimur.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will participate in two rallies today. He will be speaking in Kishanganj and Purnia, urging people to vote for the change he believes is needed in the state. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also hold rallies in Goh and Mohania, supporting NDA candidates.

Tejashwi Yadav Expresses Confidence on NDA Defeat

In a bold statement, Chirag Paswan, leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), expressed his confidence that the NDA would secure a victory in the upcoming elections. Speaking on the last day of campaigning, Paswan said, “NDA will form the government again in Bihar. Nitish Kumar will continue as Chief Minister. The results on November 14 will be in NDA’s favor. The public’s blessings are with us.”

Paswan also took a jibe at the opposition, accusing them of spreading false propaganda during the last general elections. He claimed that the opposition had predicted that the Constitution was under threat, and now they were spreading lies in Bihar. He urged voters to cast their ballots carefully, advising them not to make any mistakes at the voting booth.

Mukesh Sahni Predicts Strong Performance for Mahagathbandhan

Mukesh Sahni, the leader of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and the Mahagathbandhan’s Deputy Chief Ministerial candidate, expressed his belief that the coalition would perform strongly in the elections. Sahni stated that the youth of Bihar were eager for change and that support from all communities, castes, and religions was pouring in. He predicted that the Mahagathbandhan would secure more than 80 seats in the first phase itself. Sahni emphasized that a wave of change was sweeping through Bihar and assured that there would be a definite transformation in the state’s political landscape.

Yogi Adityanath Warns Against “Jungle Raj”

In a rally held in the Sikti constituency of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath warned the people of Bihar about the possible return of “Jungle Raj” if the opposition parties come to power. He said, “Today, Bihar’s youth is standing as a model for the country and the world. The journey of Bihar’s development must not stop.” He criticized opposition leaders for making big promises during their campaigns but failing to fulfill them. Adityanath added, “People need to be cautious of those who are trying to bring Jungle Raj back to Bihar. The leaders of the opposition are making false promises, but the people of Bihar are seeing through these lies.”

He reiterated that the primary goal of the BJP-NDA is to build a ‘Developed Bihar’ and further emphasized the importance of continuing the progress the state has made under the current leadership.

Ravi Kishan Confident of NDA Victory

BJP MP Ravi Kishan also expressed confidence in NDA’s victory in the upcoming elections. He claimed that the NDA was poised to win more seats than expected, thanks to the support and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Kishan added that Bihar was ready to make a leap forward, and the entire country would be proud of the state’s progress. He dismissed the claims of a return to “Jungle Raj” and assured that Bihar would continue its journey of development.

Tejashwi Yadav Celebrates 36th Birthday Amidst Election Campaign

On the final day of campaigning, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav celebrated his 36th birthday. RJD workers across the state marked the occasion by putting up birthday posters at the party’s Bihar office in Patna. Some posters referred to him as “Bihar’s Chief Minister,” with one reading “A birthday gift of the Chief Minister’s chair.” This display of support from party workers reflects the growing enthusiasm for Tejashwi’s leadership among his supporters.

Intense Final Day Campaigning

As the election campaign for Bihar’s second phase comes to a close, the political temperature in the state has risen significantly. Leaders from both the ruling alliance and the opposition are working tirelessly to convince voters that their respective parties are the best choice for the future of Bihar. With just two days left for voting, every speech, rally, and public meeting holds immense significance in the final push to secure voter support.

On the final day, each rally, whether by Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav, or Yogi Adityanath, is expected to address key concerns such as employment, development, and governance in Bihar. The political landscape of the state is witnessing an intense battle for dominance between the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan.

Amit Shah’s Rally in Sasaram

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a major rally in Sasaram’s Fazalganj Stadium, where the security has been heightened with a three-tier security arrangement. The rally will focus on supporting NDA candidate Snehalata, and the event is expected to draw large crowds. Shah’s visit to Sasaram underscores the NDA’s efforts to secure support in crucial constituencies ahead of the election.

As the second phase of Bihar’s assembly elections approaches, the state is brimming with political activity. Leaders from all parties are giving their final push to gain as much support as possible before the polling day. The last day of campaigning marks a critical moment in the elections, with every speech and rally likely to influence voter sentiment. With the election just days away, Bihar is set to determine its political future, and the outcome will shape the state’s trajectory for years to come.
