According to local sources and initial police reports:

• Three young men were returning home after finishing a paint job in the area.

• All three were riding on a single motorcycle when a speeding car struck them near Muzaffarpur-Hajipur Road.

• The impact was so severe that two died instantly while the third was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

Victim Identification

The deceased have been identified as:

• Suraj Giri (26)

• Abodh Giri (25)

Both were residents of Basauli village, under Kudhni Police Station jurisdiction.

The injured victim, Annu Kumar, is also from the same village and has been referred to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) for advanced treatment.

 Emergency Response and Hospital Transfer

Following the collision:

• Locals quickly gathered at the spot and alerted Fakuli police station.

• The victims were taken to the nearby Community Health Center (CHC).

• Doctors at the CHC declared Suraj and Abodh dead.

• Annu Kumar, suffering serious injuries, was shifted to SKMCH for specialized care.

 Hit-and-Run: Driver Fled the Scene

In a desperate attempt to escape:

• The car’s driver lost control, damaging the divider of a nearby bridge.

• He then abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

Police recovered the vehicle’s number plate and have begun tracing the owner and driver using regional databases and CCTV footage.

Muzaffarpur police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident. A case of rash and negligent driving causing death has been registered. Forensic experts will inspect the car for further evidence.
