The ongoing standoff has disrupted multiple legislative discussions. Due to opposition protests, important bills like the National Sports Governance Bill 2025 and the National Anti-Doping Amendment Bill 2025 could not be debated in the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Despite the ongoing disruptions, Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is expected to introduce two major bills. One is the amendment to the National Anti-Doping Act 2022, and the other is the National Sports Governance Bill 2025. These bills are part of the government’s push for reform in the sports sector but face uncertainty due to the ongoing opposition blockade in Parliament.
